Mission Statement:

The purpose of this dance program is to provide quality dance training that emphasizes creativity and technique.  Each student is encouraged to explore his/her own creativity and physical ability under the guidance of a qualified teacher.  There is also an emphasis placed on developing a high level of self-esteem, confidence, and discipline.  The program provides a caring and supportive environment that allows each student to enjoy learning to dance.

About the Director:

Melissa Hottenstein has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and Psychology from Muhlenberg College.  She began her training at an early age at several studios in Montoursville and Williamsport, PA before receiving her degree at Muhlenberg.  She was awarded a dance scholarship at the college and performed in faculty and student choreographed concerts during her four years at the college.  Throughout college, she taught creative movement, ballet, tap, and jazz to children under the guidance of a Muhlenberg dance professor.  In August 2003, Melissa opened the Endless Mountains Dance Center in Towanda, PA.  She has been the director and instructor for the dance center since its opening and has choreographed and directed six spring recitals for the Endless Mountains Dance Center. Melissa continues to travel to New York City several times a year to study dance.  She has studied under dance masters such as Sean Curran, Bill Evans, Gregg Russell, Rennie Harris, David Howard, Finis Jhung, Debbie Dee, and many others.
